And while she undoubtedly impressed the audience, it's a different outcome for her young daughter who automatically begins to wail every time she sings.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain last month, the Welsh beauty admitted: 'She cries when I sing.. specifically when I practice my scales'.
She also spoke about her late father, who passed away aged just 50, admitting he would have been very proud to witness her success.
'He was a house husband and would drive me to all my singing lessons,' she revealed.

Katherine wed Andrew Levitas at Hampton Court Palace in September after a whirlwind seven-month romance.
The singer began dating the American artist and film director back in February last year and got engaged in April and married five months later.
The smitten couple welcomed Aaliyah in New York last September.
