Mark Zuckerberg wants to give a voice to Jarvis- let’s look at who will fit the job

Mark Zuckerberg announced that he was contemplating giving a voice to Jarvis- an Artificial Intelligence assistant that he had envisioned at the starting of this year.

Jarvis will, in theory, help people with controlling their home or office devices like music, lights, temperature etc . Well, if we can imagine anyone having an AI assistant after Iron Man, it has to be him.

"My personal challenge for 2016 is to build a simple AI to
run my home and help me with my work," he wrote on Facebook Jan. 3. "You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man. I'm going to start by exploring what technology is already out there. Then I'll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home -- music, lights, temperature and so on."

Many people volunteered to work as Jarvis after this post on Facebook. Let’s see which eight are in the running to rush us Back To The Future.

Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr.
Who better to play Jarvis than Iron Man himself.

A comment suggested that it has to be either Downey or Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch, and then Downey chimed in.

"I'll do in a heartbeat if Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch's choosing...that's the right kind of STRANGE!" he wrote.

Zuckerberg's response: "This just got real."

Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch
Now, there’s something about that British accent that we can’t ignore.

Sherlock taking orders to get things done, that will be a curious case for sure; but maybe Doctor Strange will not mind that.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Schwarzenegger can be perfect Jarvis, as he has had the experience with the Terminator. He can save us if Robots or other AIs decide to turn on us. Zuckerberg thought it would be too aggressive but we think we need that to save us in this mess of a world we live in.

Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman
How can one not think of Freeman when we talk of voices? He will soothe us when we are cranky at work and his voice can be a nice interruption to our domestic duels.

Scarlett Johanson

Scarlett Johanson
Now, we need someone who knows how to get the job done.

Johanson had lent her voice to a futuristic AI in the movie-Her so we know she can be the friend/ lover you never knew you needed.

The Obamas

The Obamas
Many people voted for the Obamas again here because let’s be honest, we’d love to hear them talk even after they’ve left the white house.

Neil deGrasse Tyson

Neil deGrasse Tyson
The voice for science, world-over, Neil deGrasse Tyson is an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. We think he’d be a great choice for this futuristic product, and Zuckerberg seemed to agree.

Mark..himself.

Mark..himself.
Our home boy, Kunal Shah from Freecharge thought that the best option was Mark Zuckerberg himself. Well, whoever can get the job well done, we can agree with.
