This Halloween sangria looks spectacular with minimal effort. I combined Chardonnay and sparkling apple cider together for a sweet sip, but the thought of mead (wine made with honey) and a robustly spiced still apple cider also sounds wickedly good. The key is topping the large punch vessel with a generous load of freshly chopped apple. I diced them into medium cubes, because it's easy, but thin slices would also look quite attractive. Lastly, don't forget to add some dry ice to your tablescape to create the haunting fog effect.
