We all have watched the an episode or two of the animated character ‘Richie Rich’ and aspired to be like the little boy, who had a vault brimming with money at Mount Rushmore, a personal chef, robot (at a day and age when even the internet didn’t exist) and a dog, very appropriately named, Dollar. 

Everyone aspires to become super rich in less time and wants to lead a lifestyle where you can buy anything without even looking at the price tag.

But, becoming rich is not an overnight affair and takes a lot of hard work. Apart from hard work, there are other things that makes a person a millionaire or even a billionaire such as smartness, an eye for detail, persistency, etc.

Only creating wealth is not enough and you should know how to manage and distribute money. Even Richie Rich did a lot of charity!

Intelligence

Intelligence gets passed on from generations to generations. You have to be intelligent in exploring your ideas, selecting what will work for you and your society and choosing a viable model. Use your intellect to the optimum level. Go and get the cutting edge education but also use your intellect.

Philosophy

You must have a philosophy in life and stick to it. When you build your wealth, it should be based on certain values. For example, Steve Jobs. It is important to have a clear system to build your wealth.

Character

They say ‘Test of a man is about his integrity, the ability to stand in spite of problems’. You have to be a person of values. Stand for your word, money will follow.

Social

Richness and wealth has a social dimension. You can’t create wealth in isolation. Wealth comes from the society and goes to the society. For example: Henry Ford, he saw that the society required a car. He worked around the necessity and built wealth. You have to build something for the society.

Financial

There are 4 stages of wealth-Identification, Creation, Management, Distribution. Identify where the money is, research well where the money lies. Then, work hard and create wealth. But, good times do not last. After you create wealth, manage your wealth. Save for rainy days, invest at the right place. After managing, give it back to the society but also save for yourself. You should develop the habit to give money and don’t become greedy.
