During the visit members of the Convention of the Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan, met with the Secretary General of the League. Another meeting was held at the headquarters of the International Equestrian Federation, where the organizational issues related to the show jumping competitions were discussed. In addition, the Executive Committee delegation on preparation for V Asian Games indoors and martial arts, took part in the meeting of the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committees of Oceania in Port -Vila Vanuatu.
During the meeting a presentation of the Asian Games 2017, held talks on cooperation with the NOCs of Oceania and the organization of the Games. They also met with the heads and representatives of 17 National Olympic Committees of Oceania, which will take part along with 45 Asian countries in a great sports forum in Ashgabat next year.
In the State of Qatar will host the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees on November 15-16 this year, in which over a thousand leaders of the NOC, all sports federations from 206 countries will take part. The Assembly will also be presented Asian Games-2017.
V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts AIMAG series will be held in Ashgabat on 17-27 September 2017 in a unique Olympic village, which includes 30 facilities, including the largest in the region, the Olympic Stadium. In the games more than 5000 athletes from 62 countries will compete for 218 sets of medals.
