The Tonga Women's Sevens Team for next month's Oceania Sevens Championship in Fiji was named today, captained by 'Eseta Vi.

Tonga's Sevens Men’s Team will also compete in the Championship from November 11-12, which will include both the Men’s and Women’s Sevens Olympic Gold Medalists - Fiji and Australia.

It will also be the first time combining the Men's and Women’s Sevens Championships.

Hon Fanetupouvava’u Tu’ivakano, Patron of the Tonga Women's Rugby Association today received $4,800 pa’anga worth of training t-shirts and equipment fromTCC to help with their preparation.

Fehoko Tu'ivai said the girls were training hard twice daily to to lift their level of fitness and get ready for the tournament.
