Macedonian national football team has dropped nine places to the 155th position in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday in Zurich and represents the lowest ranking in the history of the team.
In the World Cup qualifying group which also includes Macedonian team the best positioned team is Spain (10) which is the next rival to Macedonian footballers in November. Italy is in 13th position, Albania (47), Israel is ranked to 79th position moving up 19 position, while Lichtenstein is in 183rd place.
FIFA world ranking top 10 includes: Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, Columbia, Chile, France, Portugal, Uruguay and Spain.
FIFA will publish the next ranking on Nov. 24.
